How to request new access to University Advancement technology tools
To quickly get accounts created, please provide the following information about your new hire to the Advancement Help Desk ticketing system, https://services.advancement.virginia.edu/support/tickets/new: Full name Job title Department Business address Computing ID Email Telephone number Supervisor name Start date Also, let us know which applications they will need to access for their role. Advance Web Advancement Performance Cvent Eventbrite EverTrue GiveCampus Marketing Cloud MobileCause Tableau Your new team member must sign the University Advancement Staff Non-Disclosure Agreement, https://hub.advancement.virginia.edu/form/nda and complete the High Security Awareness Training module in UVA Workday or Information Technology Security Awareness Training module outside of UVA Workday before they can access the Advancement Hub or any of the other applications used in the Advancement Community. They should also have Cisco AnyConnect installed on their computer and Duo Push installed on a separate mobile device.

Help Desk Services Overview
New Account Request Use this form to request access to advancement technology for an employee. Whenever a new employee is onboarded, the supervisor or hiring manager should submit this form to ensure they get access to the tech tools they need to do their best work. We will also use this information to update your org chart on the Advancement Hub. While it is mostly used for new employees, it can also be used to request new access for current employees. You will need the following information to complete the New Account Request form: Employee info (name, Computing ID, job title, email, unit, business address) Start date (if they are a new hire) Supervisor name Role and responsibility information Let the Advancement Community member know about your new hire! Consider filling out our staffing form to notify the community of your new team member. Employee Off-boarding (Located in People and Business Operations) This form should be filled out whenever an employee leaves your unit to ensure that their access to delicate systems are revoked. There are options to select whether they are leaving to such as another advancement unit or the university entirely. You need the following information to complete the Employee Off-boarding form: Employee info (name, Computing ID, department, title) Where they are transferring to End date Request Help with a Tech Tool You can get help with all Advancement Technology Tools using this form. Simply select the software you need assistance with and select the categories that best fit your problem. Simply select the application you need help with and choose your issue. I need my password reset - this also has it's own high priority form for quicker resolutions I need to be shown how to do something - request guidance, documentation or deskside support I'm getting an error message - get assistance with troubleshooting and technical issues, screenshots are very helpful for this option I need additional access - request new or more advanced access to systems Other - for everything else, be prepared to provide some more information
