Excel: How to add leading zeros
You can use the Excel TEXT function to easily add leading zeroes when you need to provide the 10-digit Advance ID numbers, regardless of the number of digits in your original list. If you have a list of numbers in Column A, select an empty cell, then type “=TEXT(A2,”0000000000”)” then press Enter. If you are happy with the result, click the cell containing the text formula, then double-click your left mouse button to copy the formula down to the column. While the column is still highlighted, click your right mouse button, then drag the entries over to Column A. Release the right mouse button, then click “Copy Here as Values Only.”

How to add members from different UVA tenants to an Office 365 Group
While most individuals at the University fall under the central Office 365 tenant, users from Darden, Law, and McIntire are in separate Office 365 tenants. Therefore, Office 365 accounts for these schools are not provided through ITS. If you need to add someone to your Team or Group who is not in the same tenant as you: Do not invite them as a guest -- Teams considers users at UVA who have standalone Office 365 subscription plans as part of the same organization. Request an A1 license -- The user should contact the UVA Help Desk to request an A1 license and confirm their Eservices account is active. Send an invitation to their computingID@virginia.edu email address-- After the user has received an A1 license: The Team or Group Owner should add the user or send an invitation to the user's computingID@virginia.edu email address so the user can join as a Full Member and not a Guest. The user should go to office.com and log in with their computingID@virginia.edu email address and UVA password (Forgotten it? Reset your UVA password) to start using a Team or Group.
